Played a bit and have to say it is made exceedingly well. It did take me a bit to learn how to control the spaceship more precisely, since dodging the asteroids is very important for getting a good score, but doing so made the game flow very well for me.
This game has a surprising amount of depth with just the limited mechanics, the speed and resulting powerup state are really inspired and well balanced to make a compelling loop!
